Squash and gourds come in many different shapes and colours, all have a hard rind and store well. The flesh is fine-grained and is the best choice for cooking, baking, and 'pumpkin' pies.

Pumpkins are mainly used today as Halloween decoration rather than for food. There are plenty here at Tulleys Farm Shop for you to take home or enter into the Spooktacular October Festival Carving Competition.

The colourful gourds also make popular seasonal decorations.
