Business Operations Co-ordinator

Tulleys Farm runs some of the UK’s best-known seasonal attractions, including our popular Halloween events, Christmas experiences, and family-friendly Tulip events. We welcome thousands of visitors each year and take pride in delivering well-organised, high-quality events. 

We are looking for someone to support the day-to-day running of the company’s farm and business operations.  The role combines project co-ordination, maintaining regulatory controls and supporting the Business and Finance Director with cross- functional projects and communication.   The role is varied, with room for growth and progression, and covers a diverse range of functions that come from ever changing and growing businesses.

The ideal candidate is highly organised with good communications skills and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced environment.  They will have an interest in learning the specifics of an agri-tourism business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate daily business operational activities.
  • Support the B&F Director with property purchases, valuations and inheritance changes including the flow of legal and financial documents required to facilitate the successful growth of the business.
  • Pick up ad hoc requests in a timely manner to ensure the smooth running of the business
  • Assist with a wide variety of projects, coordinating information and ensuring we meet set deadlines.
  • Prepare maps and land registry documents as required
  • Prepare agricultural and Government returns and submit them to the relevant stake holders.
  • Arrange travel and registration for conferences and trade shows
  • Manage the B&F Directors calendar, schedule meetings and compile relevant documents in a timely manner
  • Communicate with internal teams and stakeholders on behalf of the Directors
  • Ensure that regular invoicing and general housekeeping for the buildings is carried out on behalf of the partners.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–5 years in administrative, operations, or project coordination roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  Good analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for engaging with stakeholders as well as a collaborative approach to problem solving.

 

Other Competencies

 

  • Experience of project management and/or land management systems would be useful
  • Proactive approach to learning new skills and processes

 

This role is office based, 5 days per week, on a full or part-time basis.

Salary range £32 - £35k per annum pro rata.
